100% pure and traditional Sattu, prepared using Channa and Jowar
Preparation Method:
-
Rinse the chickpeas thoroughly and then soak them in water for 8-10 hours or overnight.
-
Drain the water and rinse the chickpeas again. Spread them out on a clean towel or paper towel to dry.
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet and roast them in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
-
Let the roasted chickpeas cool completely, then grind them into a fine powder using a food processor or blender.
-
Pass the ground chickpeas through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh strainer to remove any large particles.
-
Store the sattu in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
Sattu can be used in a variety of recipes, including traditional Indian drinks, desserts, and savory dishes.
